Annual Summer Peach Fuzztival at Bluemont Underway!

Peach Fuzztival is in full swing at Bluemont and we can not wait for you to experience this homegrown annual tradition! Come and enjoy peaches in great food and drink at this bountiful collaboration between Great Country Farms, Henway Hard Cider, Bluemont Vineyard, and Dirt Farm Brewing. 

Start the morning off with a Peach Pancake Breakfast at Henway Hard Cider between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Fill up on golden pancakes right off the griddle, topped with freshly sliced peaches and whipped cream, prior to heading to the U Pick fields at Great Country Farms to pick farm-fresh peaches. The Blue Truck Bar will be hitting the road again and hanging out in the orchard, serving up farm-fresh peach libations, very farm to table, or orchard to pint we should say!

Head back over to Great Country Farms for afternoon family-friendly Peach activities, including our Peach Eating Contest, Peach Pit Spitting Contest, and Family Fun Water Games starting at 2:00 pm. For those looking to learn more about the peach production process, educational tours detailing the growing, trimming, and thinning process are available in the orchards daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Ready to relax and un-wine? Take the afternoon easy and eat and drink your peachy way through the properties. Enjoy peach cider and peach charcuterie boards at Henway Hard Cider, sip on Peach Wine and Peach Sangria at Bluemont Vineyard, and Som’ Peach Ale, made with over 800 pounds of peaches from Great Country Farms at Dirt Farm Brewing. For those with a sweet tooth, peach slushies, peach pies, peach bread, and peach ice cream is also available for purchase at Knead It Bakery, located at Great Country Farms.

Peach Fuzztival Details

Great Country Farms Peach Pancakes, and Peach afternoon activities at Great Country Farms available on July 31, August 1, August 7 and August 8. Peaches are sold separately by the pound. Pancake breakfast at Henway Hard Cider is sold separately from Great Country Farm admission and will be served from 9am-10:30am.
