Our vineyards span an eastern-facing slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each vineyard location is carefully chosen, taking into account the elevation, slope, and soil composition to best suit the varietal. Each vintage tells its own story and no story is the same from year to year. Be it the late frost, the long hot summer, or the hurricane that hurried harvest, each wine is as unique as the grapes grown that season.

There is a creative ability as a winemaker to blend and shape each bottle in the cellar. In many ways, a winemaker with barrels is like a chef with spices or an artist with paintbrushes. Each bottle of wine is a creative expression of the winemaker’s vision. It is my goal as winemaker to create wines that are balanced and show finesse and structure while also conveying the uniqueness of Bluemont.

Born from blending trials at our family table, the Farm Series pays tribute to our beginnings rooted deep in farming. This series shares approachable qualities, making them our go-to wines for any occasion and every gathering.
