Policies & FAQ

Hours of Operation:  

We are currently open seven days a week. Sunday - Thursdsay 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday - Saturday 11:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Last call for food and wine is 30 minutes prior to close.

Reservation 

Reservations are encouraged  for all Saturday & Sunday visits. We welcome walk-ins for outdoor bar service Monday - Friday, but encourage large parties (over 8 guests) to call ahead or inquire about a weekday reservation through our office. Tock, our third-party reservation system, will send reservation confirmation and additional details to the email address provided during booking.

Large Parties

We can accommodate parties of up to twelve  guests on our patio at this time by reservation. Parties larger than 12 guests are invited to contact our special events team! We look forward to planning your upcoming celebration in one of our large party spaces.

Outside Food & Alcohol

Outside food & beverages are NOT permitted on property. 

We offer a wide variety of light fare, including seasonally rotating items. Please see our Menu for a complete list of current offerings. We kindly ask that you purchase all food & beverage items from your designated server on the day of your visit.

Virginia ABC prohibits the consumption of off-premise wine, beer or alcohol on Bluemont Vineyard Property. We thank you for helping us preserve our farm winery license by leaving any outside food and beverage at home.

Are you Family-friendly?

We are family-friendly (including four legged friends!). To keep all family members safe, we ask that children remain in their seats during the reservation and that animals stay on a leash. We invite you to visit our sister property, Great Country Farms, for more space and outdoor activities for the whole family!  

How to make special events MORE special? 

Let’s celebrate the big things, the little things and all the things! Our celebration boxes or sparkling toasts are the perfect addition to a birthday party, bridal shower, anniversary, or any ‘special’ day! To preorder, and for more information, please make a reservation online and select “Celebration Box”  or “Sparkling Toast” as an add-on.

Something came up... can I cancel my reservation?

We understand, plans change. Any pre-paid deposit amount can be rolled over to a new date, or we can issue a Bluemont Vineyard gift card. We look forward to hosting you and your guests soon! 

What is your policy for inclement weather? 

We currently offer outdoor reservations. Limited indoor seating is available by reservation only. If you would like to make an indoor reservation, please contact our office during weekday office hours to inquire about availability. During instances of inclement weather, we invite you to embrace the elements of the mountainside and dress for the weather and space that you’ve booked. Leading up to your visit, if you would prefer to reschedule due to inclement weather, we are happy to assist you! 

I’m a Vista Wine Club member. Do I need a reservation?

Thank you for being a part of our farm family! To best serve you, we do ask all members to make a reservation at The Reserve Tasting Room.To make a VWC table service reservation, please visit our Club page.

Arriving in a party bus or limo?

If you and your group will be arriving all together in a shared vehicle, we instruct that your driver drops you off at the front entrance to the winery. The driver is then asked to drive to the far end of the parking lot to park and wait for your group.
