The Bluemont Vineyard 5K is one of the most challenging, but scenic courses to run in Northern Virginia. Run entirely on the property of the Vineyard, the race takes you over hills, through orchards around the Vineyard and -- at the end -- up the side of a small mountain. If you do not wish to run the race, come and cheer the participants on as they climb their way to 951 feet!

The race is usually run in mid-April and begins at 1:00 PM. Those wishing to watch the start and finish should make their way to the winery before the noon start time. Doors open at 11:00 so come and reserve your front row seat!

This is a challenging 5K Run with its last 1/2 Mile including an uphill time trial. The event takes place in the grounds, vineyards, orchards of Bluemont Vineyard. The course is grass, gravel, and paved road. There is 350' of elevation climb to the finish line.

Free wine tasting for all runners (21 years and older). Get your cheering section up the hill before the race. The race finishes in the winery parking lot at 951'! Prizes, Music, Wine, Great View of the Loudoun Valley, and Refreshments after the race.
